Alex Budai is one of New York City's preeminent hairstylists known for creating sexy and glamorous looks for elite clients, fashion designers and creative directors. 

Born in Hungary, he started doing hair at 12 years old - his first clients were his mother and younger sister.
During his extensive career, Alex studied and worked for several years in Europe and has traveled for clients to major cities including Miami, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Alex has styled at some of the world's top salons - John Frieda, Privè, Pipino, Paul Labrecque and John Sahag.
His client list includes such performers and celebrities as Vanessa Redgrave, Felicity Huffman, Michelle Rodriguez, Ivanka Trump, Lady Gaga and more;
his work has been featured in Spanish Vogue, Untitled,  Oprah magazine, Bridal magazine, D-moda (Argentina), Mega (Philippines), A&E "Private Session", E! "Celebrity weddings" and Billboard. He has worked behind the scenes at some of the hottest fashion shows including Donna Karen, Jeremy Scott, Badgley Mischka, Venexiana, Alice Roy, Diesel and Zara. Among his commercial clients are Saks Fifth Avenue, Dr Pepper, Samsung, Avon, Eileen Fisher and Limited brands.

Alex continues to broaden his strength as a colorist and stylist by teaching color and cut classes twice a year at the Clips Academy in Hungary, Budapest. Focusing on aesthetics, he continues to raise the bar for excellence in the hair world.

He is also the creator of a smartphone App that is popular among women all over the world called "HairWeather" (
