Adam Maclay is a man for all seasons.
As a New York City-based hair stylist, make-up artist, and fashion consultant, Maclay has built a reputation for resilience, authenticity, and creative ingenuity. He is Refinery29's lifestyle contributor and connects with 12 million viewers to offer his fresh slant on style wisdom.
Maclay and his work have been featured in pop culture, editorial, and craft-driven projects, including WE Network's My Fair Wedding with David Tutera, V Magazine, Vouge Mexico, Good Housekeeping, Seventeen, Shape, Glamour, Inked and Wall Street Journal. He has also created looks for retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, London Fog and works closely with The Rockettes as their hair and makeup stylist. In 2012 Maclay was selected to serve as  artist-in-residence at The Studios of Key West where he was commissioned to create and exhibit a gallery of 20 headdresses made of organic and inorganic materials.
Imagination and verasatility also define Maclay's work under the tents. A regular presence at New York's Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week, his show list includes Stephen F, Haute Hippie, Buckler, Monika Chiang, Rolando Santana, and Parsons. Maclay has also been involved with the It Gets Better Fashion Lounge and the AmEx VIP Lounge.
Adam Maclay currently works as a hair stylist and makeup artist with John Sahag Workshop and is represented by  ABTP.
